Project Manager - Inverness.

Parity Group is delighted to partner with our client, a utility sector organisation who are looking to recruit a Project Manager for their Property Management team based in Inverness.

As a Project Manager, you will be part of the company's Capital Services Team delivering building and property remedial works. This team is supervising a pan-Scotland building condition survey program across the companies operational estate, the outputs from which will require the project team to organise remedial repairs, scope upgrading works, manage contractors and budgets, and oversee robust project governance.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Project management experience within a construction environment
  • Knowledge of building legislations including - planning, building control, environmental, and listed building considerations
  • Demonstrable experience of CDM & H&S in a construction environment
  • Capability to manage changes and variations within projects
  • Excellent stakeholder, influencing, and communication skills
  • Budgeting competence along with experience in project governance and reporting processes
  • Proven experience and experience of working with building repair contracts

Desirable skills and knowledge:

  • Project Management and/or Building Surveying qualifications
  • Full, Clean, UK Driving License as you will be required to travel between operational sites
  • Understanding of WIMES and DOMS procedures
  • Able to promote an environment of continuous improvement where opportunities to work smarter and more efficiently are always being explored

The salary range for this role is between £35,000-£47,000 depending on experience.

Please note - all successful candidates will be required to complete pre-employment security checks before employment commences, this includes driving license checks.
