Agreed rate: £136 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: 5 days per week onsite in East Grinstead (to start with). After training might be able to switch to hybrid model 3 days on site/2 days remote.

Contract Duration: 12 months

Work Permit: British Citizenship or ILR only

Role Overview:

Workshop Administrator

Reports to:

Workshop Supervisor/Workshop Coordinator

Job Summary:

To assist and support the production in our Workshop. The job entails working with the workshop supervisor, workshop coordinator and team leaders to ensure a smooth running of all our production activities supporting UK & ROI customers in Genset, Rail & Marine applications. It therefore requires the applicant to have excellent communication skills. The job is wholly office based in our Workshop at our Headquarters in East Grinstead.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Workshop and Training Centre Coordinator in the day-to-day business:

  • Processing tickets in SAP for preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for our products and ensure a smooth running of the supply chain.
  • Producing Service Quotations and ordering of parts for various tasks on our products.
  • Ensuring tickets are complete and ready for a Warranty Claim.
  • Creating purchase order and placing orders for different workshop requirements.
  • Keeping spreadsheets updated as required.
  • Preparing paperwork for incoming engines.
  • Requesting and tracking incoming parts.
  • Communicating with other business teams.

Person Profile:

Personality/Job Skills - good attention to detail, well organised, capable of accurate data entry are all essential to the role. Must also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Computer Skills - Computer literate with good keyboard skills. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and email and SAP. On the job training will be provided for SAP, RRS Business Portal

Literacy and Numeracy - Must be a competent writer of business letters and emails.

Other Skills: Must be able to work well as part of an efficient and agile Team. Must have a good understanding/appreciation of Health & Safety
