Overview

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Sales Support Specialist is a hybrid position that combines administrative responsibilities and is accountable for the proposal generation process. Responsibilities include supporting sales staff by providing administrative, clerical, and customer support. This role will involve merging technical, quality, and costing perspectives to prepare a product that demonstrates the professionalism and capabilities of the company. The individual will need to draw from our existing library or create custom content and tweak those depending on the customer, sales input, and scope of work in an effort to put McCloud Services in the most competitive position to win business.

Responsibilities

FUNCTIONAL ACCOUNTABILITY

o Proposals creation and document management
o Contract review
o Prepares sales related reports according to department and/or company guidelines
o Build CRM market prospect database
o Net Promoter Score Results and Follow Up
o Lead management and data entry
o Market Research


PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
o Number of proposals submitted
o Number of proposals turned within 24 hours


Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Relevant Experience


o Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, or General Business preferred; Associates degree required.
o 2-5 years' previous experience as a sales administrator, highly desirable.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
o Intermediate to expert knowledge computer skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PDF, and PowerPoint required; knowledge of CRM systems preferred
o Knowledge and/or experience with RFI, RFP, RFQ processes and systems
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to incorporate marketing and sales language across all levels of the organization
o Skill in analyzing and interpreting data
o Skill to effectively manage interactions with internal and external customers at all levels.
o Ability to pull information from various sources and to collect technical marketing collateral
o Ability to create proposal templates via multiple database tools
o Ability to create order and multitask in fast-paced environment
o Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods of time
o Skill in planning and prioritizing work.
o Skill in presenting company products and services.
o Skill in promoting cooperation, building teamwork, and resolving conflict.
o Work collaboratively and effectively as a team member
