Advancing People Multilingual are looking for an International Sales and Executive Assistant for our Bedfordshire based client. This is a role that will offer huge career progression prospects for the successful candidate.
Our client is a market leading manufacturer looking to develop someone with high potential and strong ambition.
As the job title indicates, the roles has two key elements; International Sales and Executive Assistance. The main responsibilities of the role include:
International Sales Assistance:
Represent the business to customers, prospects and other external contacts both within Europe and internationally outside of Europe, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and customer service are maintained at all times, through a variety of sales activities including:
Customer relationship management - may lead to international travel approximately 1-2 weeks in every 4 weeks following an initial training period of approximately 6-12 months;
Stock and bespoke orders processing;
Raising quotations including margin calculation;
Creative construction / graphics brief development.
Liaise with a variety of internal contacts including other Sales colleagues, Production, Studio, Purchasing, Finance, Warehouse and Transport to ensure often complex and detailed customer requirements are met.
Process enquiries demonstrating a full understanding of what is required providing samples and quotations as required.
Resolve customer complaints working with relevant departments and which can involve raising credits where appropriate.
Develop self to potential grown into an International Field Sales role, based in the UK.
Provide support to senior management with organisation, scheduling, correspondence and meetings.
Take responsibility and ownership of office organisation, project management, deadline compliance, and important documents and files.
Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners.
Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.Person Specification:
Proven recent and relevant executive and sales support experience working with overseas customers - experience of US market highly desirable.
Project management skills highly desirable.
Fluency in languages other than English highly desirable, in particular German.
Strong IT skills in MS Office and other on-premise and cloud-based systems.
Excellent and positive communications skills - verbally, written and interpersonally - which demonstrate confident ability to act with commercial awareness, negotiate, build relationships, make effective judgements and take responsibility.
Ability to research, digest, analyse and present material clearly and concisely.
Organised, driven, proactive and flexible individual who can maintain attention to detail and resilience, applying initiative, through competing priorities to resolve problems and deliver tangible results.
Can demonstrate exercising professional discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information presenting an honest and reliable personability.Benefits:
In return our client is offering a salary of between £25,000 to £30,000 and a good benefits package.
