I have an urgent requirement for a 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer to join my client based in St Neots. You will be joining a rapidly expanding business with the opportunity for progression and growth within the role. You will be exposed to a wide range of tech including cloud-based platforms such as Azure & AWS. You will be joining a support team of 13 and they have an additional 2 positions (1x 1st Line Support & 1x 2nd Line Support) they are looking to recruit, so now is a really goo time to be part of their expansion. You will be exposed to topics such as virtualisation, network design, disaster recovery, business continuity, hosting services, Public and Private Cloud, security and bespoke managed solutions.

Skills/Experience Required

To be considered for the 1st line role, you will require:

Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar service desk environment

Previous experience with a ticketing system

Windows desktop support including O365

Strong Customer service ethos

Passionate about technology & how it benefits businesses

Proactive, can-do attitude

To be considered for the 2nd Line role you will require all the above plus the following below

Windows Server deployment and troubleshooting (2003 – 2016)

Troubleshooting network issues including firewalls, VPN, routing & WIFI

Virtualisation – VMware, Hyper-V

Storage solutions such as Datacore, VSAN, Nexans

Any previous cloud-based tech experience e will be a massive bonus
