The Role:

Our client is currently looking to recruit 7 Welders to cover and alternate shift's both morning and lates to conduct the following:

Role Purpose:

Stainless Steel Welding, primarily DUPLEX structural work using TIG & MIG (solid wire) & Carbon Steel Welding structural work using TIG & MIG.

Key Activities:

Experienced in welding safety critical structural work.

NDT of work that requires consistently passing inspection.

Ability to follow weld maps.

Maintains documentation as lifetime records are kept.

Must be a Good Team Worker with good communication skills to ensure information is passed from one shift to another.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

Apprentice Trained

Engineering/Craft Studies/Welding Operations.

Engineering based Qualifications with previously held coded weld Qualifications.

3-5 Years in either Nuclear or Engineering Sector (Essential) or Aerospace/Defence/Oil & Gas sector (Desirable).

Operational experience of welding. (Desirable).

Product Audit/Verification of weld process and experience of associated records.

Ability to interpret Customer Specifications and Engineering Drawings, Weld requirements, Acceptance criteria, Qualifications and approvals.
