Starting salary of £19,500 rising to £26,000 p.a. after training + Overtime + Van + Specialist Training + Progression

Are you a Mechanical Fitter, Assembler, College Leaver, Engineering Graduate, or Machine Operator (or similar) from a production or engineering environment with basic installation, maintenance or fault finding skills? Are you happy to work a shift pattern of 10 days on, 4 days off?

Our client is a market leader specialist in site servicing, rental, overhaul and workshop repairs of processing equipment for waste management, wastewater treatment, utilities and manufacturing industries. With huge increase in demand, the company is going from strength to strength and now require a new Technician / Machine Operator / Trainee Engineer to complement their expert team. In this role you will be assisting with the installation and servicing of their equipment, both in the workshop and at customer's sites across the UK as a Mobile / Field Service Engineer. You will be required to travel and may have to stay over when needed. You will receive specialist training to become a technical expert and provide the best quality service to new and existing customers.

This role will ideally suit somebody who has a hands-on approach and an understanding of basic mechanics or engineering. A forklift licence is advantageous.

The Role:

* Full Training Provided

* Install, operate and maintain a range of Mobile Equipment within the Utilities and Wastewater Industry

* Assist management and the sales department with customer visits and surveys

* Supervise and train subcontractors (training provided)

* Wednesday of week 1 to Friday of week 2, followed by 4 days off

* Starting salary of £19,500 rising to £26,000 p.a. after training + Overtime + Van + Specialist Training + Progression

The Person:

* Machine Operator, Fitter or Engineer desirable (any Process Machinery an advantage)

* Waste water pump, centrifuge, dewatering system experience is a strong advantage

* Willing To Work Shifts - 10 on, 4 Off

* Happy To Travel and Stay Away If Required (Expenses paid)

* Basic mechanical understanding

* Must hold a full UK driving licence
