Specialising in the development of the company's industrial and heavy plant machinery division both in the UK and Europe you will:
Research and target new opportunities using tools such as LinkedIn.
Utilising your established contact network to sell products and solutions.
Contacting prospects, capturing requirements including technical specifications.
Creating professional & accurate sales proposals.
Meeting and presenting products to new prospects and upselling to existing customers.
Assisting with UK and International exhibitions.
You will need:
Previous experience of Business Development and a strong commercial awareness.
An understanding of selling mechanical or electronic equipment to business customers.
Be comfortable presenting and communicating with key decision makers.
Have good MS Office skills, including Word & Excel.
Be adaptable, looking for a challenge and able to self-drive.
Possess a technical sales background.
Be familiar with a CRM system.
Based in Poole with salary £DoE plus uncapped commission and a variety of company benefits including flexitime plus free parking
