This role will incorporate managing and developing a porfolio of clients to ensure maximum potential is gained from the relationship. In addition this person will also be repsonsible for new business through networking, hunting and acting upon sales intelligence gained.
70% of this role will involve buiding rapport and developing relationships with potential clients/contacts via whatever means. Face to face meetings, grabbing a coffee etc. The target audience would be Analysts and early stage Associates, VP's and Directors in the world of investment banking, private equity firms, corporate companies, financial advisory businesses and law firms.
Typically the sales cycle would invovle - first stage meet and discussions around the product, then software demonstration to the target client, negotiation stage and seal the deal.
The ideal candidate would come from a FinTech background, selling into the banking and investment space, or have worked in an advisory/account management capacity within the mergers & acquisitions arena with an understanding of how the process works and the ability to advise and guide the client through the process
