This is a great opportunity for an AAT qualified assistant accountant who’s ready to step up to a more senior role and work towards managing their own team.
The role will be challenging and often demanding; therefore, you will need to have a great deal of patience and resolve.
You will be managing a portfolio of small business clients. The role is ideally suited to someone who can relate to individual and small business owners, supporting them with general tasks such as general bookkeeping, VAT and Payroll processing, including producing annual accounts and filing self-assessment tax returns.
You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a good understanding of IT software and Microsoft office-based products Excel, Word and Outlook. You will need to be well organised, able to work to deadlines and have good attention to detail.
Experience of working with online packages such as; Xero, QuickBooks, KashFlow and Receipt Bank will be a distinct advantage.
Good promotional prospects await the right person.
Driving Licence and use of own vehicle essential.
Monday to Thursday 9 - 5pm and Friday 9 - 3pm
