Full Stack JavaScript Developer

Salary: up to £50,000 per annum.

Benefits: 10% pension contribution, Company bonus 15% and a chance to travel abroad

Location: Central Birmingham.

We are currently acting as a recruitment partner for one of the leading media companies in the region, based in Birmingham - near the Jewellery Quarter.

We are on the lookout for Full Stack (JavaScript) Developer ideally someone who is experienced with Angular (along with some Node). You would be part of our tech team that is working on our interactive platform that follows a similar model to Udemy (both B2B + B2C), to develop enterprise level code and help scale our product offering with innovative approaches to development.

We run agile, have moved to primarily AWS based serverless infrastructure and are currently trying to move our release cycle to a full DevOps offering but this is still in the works as our development function is still fairly young. Along with working on the maintenance of some of our mature products, you would also be involved in rewriting a front end legacy application along with the chance to work on a Greenfield native application build within the next six months.

Responsibilities will include:

*Building front-end HTML, CSS (SASS) and AngularJS

*Building middle-tier microservices (Node.js).

*Building microsites and layering JavaScript components on Magento 2.2 Enterprise, as well as Node.js microservices utilising AWS Dynamo and RDS.

*Working with Product Managers to design and prototype features.

Essential experience:


*Node JS / Angular JS

* Experience with AWS would be ideal
