An Upper-tier COMAH site north of the river Thames are currently recruiting for an EC&I Supervisor, qualified to HNC minimum. IEC 61511 is essential. This would be ideal for an individual from an Electrical Controls / Instrumentation background with 2-3 years' minimum supervisory experience looking for their next role.
The successful EC&I Maintenance Supervisor will report to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager. Their key responsibilities will include planning jobs a week in advance as well as delegating these to the appropriate internal or external resource. They will audit and recommend improvements to be made, as well as mentoring and passing their experience to technicians.
Ensuring safe and efficient terminal operations by carrying out day to day preventive, planned and reactive maintenance of Electrical, Control and Instrumentation equipment.
Ensuring all work is compliant with all relevant legislation, standards and procedures.
Complete accountability and responsibility for the EC&I maintenance, Inspection and Testing activities at the terminal.
Developing, managing, scheduling and implementing robust Preventive and Reactive Maintenance and Inspection.
Developing and managing all stages of Continuous Improvement projects within agreed budget, quality and timescale
Communicating with other departments within the terminal to ensure maintenance activities are planned
In return my client is willing to offer a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 and the following package:
Profit share bonus, typically £800-£1,500.
Contributory pension in which my client will match employee contribution + an additional 0.5% (capped at 6.5%).
Holiday: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
