Job Summary / Purpose of Role...
The Project Support Coordinator (PSC) is part of the Project Team. The PSC provides direct support to the Project Manager (PM) throughout the life of a project, and carries out a number of supporting activities to ensure projects are coordinated from Order through to the delivery.
Job Responsibilities / Key Accountabilities...
Key Job roles to include:
• Sales Handover – Arrange and coordinate Sales Hander meetings (PM to lead the meeting)
• Project Administration
o Project document control
o Requesting supplier quotations
o Raising and monitoring Purchase Orders for Bought In items
o Maintain and coordinate a schedule of Goods received for the project Bought In items
o Receiving and monitoring Goods Inwards for Project materials and Goods
o Maintain and coordinate a schedule of Free Issue items for the project
o Controlling usage and storage of items in the Free Issue area
o Generation and monitoring of Product Job Cards for production control
o Organisation and coordination of transportation and loading/offloading of Goods to/at Site
o Arrangement of International small package courier deliveries for Projects
o Collation and management of production inspection and test reports and other Quality-based documentation
o Workflow management
o Creation of Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS)
o Collation and issue of Operating and Maintenance manuals
o General project administration
o Management of small projects with support from PMs
o Work management for other team members (more junior coordinators, Interns, etc.)
o Absence cover for other Project Team members
o Liaise with Customers as required
• Service Department – receipt of deliveries, fuel sampling, etc.
• Quality (temporary)
o Maintenance of Company Accreditation List
o Maintenance of the Approved Suppliers Register
o Compilation of QA assessments, PQQ’s
o Management of NCR’s
o Support for admin – updating Quality Forms
Job Requirements / Knowledge and Experience...
• List of Essential knowledge and experience
o Experience of working in a project environment – (e.g. in a Project Management office, department or as Project Coordinator)
o Ability to communicate at all levels – externally to Clients and Suppliers; internally up to Director Level.
o Good organizational and planning skills
o Self-motivated and able to use own initiative
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• List of Desirable knowledge and experience...
o Engineering or manufacturing experience
o PRINCE2 Foundation level
Education / Degree(s) Minimum: GSCE English and Math’s to Grade C / 4 (5 preferred)
Language Requirements: English
Computer Skills Required: Microsoft office
Functional & Technical Skills Required: Commercial awareness / Team management / Technical Understanding knowdledge preferred.

Salary £18-25K depending on experience.
