Project Manager

You will be required to work as part of the companies Project Management Team in coordinating the supply and installation of the companies control systems within project timescales and budgets throughout the UK. You will be responsible for managing the logistics of individual projects from receipt of order to on-site commissioning and handover by liaising directly with customers. You will also support the Sales Team with design, estimating and technical queries on Smoke Control Panel Projects. You will recognise if and when delays are encountered or technical problems develop and escalate to the Senior Project Manager as early as possible to ensure appropriate corrective actions are initiated.

Main Duties:

* Liaise with Safegard to produce control panel drawings and issue to customers for approval to authorise manufacturing

* Issue of pre-commissioning requirements and installation manuals to customers

* Control the despatch of equipment within the required project timescales through liaison with shipping team and suppliers

* Confirm all on-site installation required by customers have been carried out prior to site attendance by commissioning engineers

* Ensure all information and documentation required by the commissioning engineers are received from customers prior to site attendance

* Produce Site Attendance Request Forms for commissioning engineers

* Gather relevant information for Swegon Service to produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements and the issue of these to customers prior to site attendance

* Liaise with Swegon Service to plan and coordinate commissioning visits across sites in the UK within the required project timescales

* Issuing of engineer reports and commissioning certificates to customers

* Ensure monthly invoicing is correct relative to contract documentation and is issued in a timely manner

* Contribute to the management of any issues resulting from commissioning and issue certification where required

* Assist with the investigation and resolution of invoice queries and produce Non Conformance Reports and Credit Notes

* Provide Sales Team and Customer Service with technical support where required

* Limited travel to customer sites

Experience

* Experience in planning, organising, management and control of resources to achieve successful completion of projects

* Use of Project Management & Planning tools

* Experience of coordinating contractors/ subcontractors
