Engie have an exciting opportunity got a Contracts Manager based at Titan Court 3 Bishops Square, Hatfield, AL10 9NF. This is a permanent full-time role working Monday - Thursday 8 am - 5 pm, Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

General Overview:

The role of the Contract Manager is to manage a number of contracts ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, to budget, and with high levels of client and resident satisfaction. To run the contract from handover to completion (completion of Defects Liability Period), including preparation and monitoring of the SHEQ and CP Plans. To take control of the site fire risk assessment plan, traffic management plan and project risk assessments. To be responsible for ensuring projects are adequately resourced to be managed safely, whilst maximising efficiency. To understand, implement and adhere to the company SHEQ policy/strategy and ensure all employees reporting to you do the same and being responsible for ensuring that SHEQ requirements are upheld to the highest of standards at all times. Out of Hours call out is required for this role. This role reports into the Contracts Manager / Senior Site Manager

Experience & Qualifications Required:

Essential Experience:

Previous experience within contract management

*

Up to date relevant knowledge of building legislation

*

Understanding of local government

*

Up to date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation

Desirable:

*

Experience of Education and University construction and refurbishment projects

*

M&E works experience

Skills / Knowledge

Essential:

*

Confident oral and written communication skills

*

Financial and commercial awareness

*

Communicate effectively with all those who have a stake in the work

*

Effectively manage time in order to meet deadlines

*

Ability to negotiate and influence

*

Mentor and support others and the ability to manage a team

*

MS Project/Asta programmes

Desirable:

People management skills

Client and stakeholder liaison

Report writing and production

Education / Qualifications;

Relevant H&S courses
