Crisis Manager

Manchester (On-site twice a week)

iO Associates are exclusively partnered with one of the UK's leading energy monitoring organisations who are on the hunt for a proactive Crisis Manager to join the business in a newly created position. As a company who are directly impacting the UK's energy infrastructure and expenditure, the need to appropriately manage crises and be prepared for all eventualities is crucial due to the colossal number of stakeholders involved with their project.

As a Crisis Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing strategies to triage, mitigate and navigate various crises that may impact all facets of the company. The successful candidate will need to be calm under pressure, a phenomenal communicator and have extensive experience within the field of crisis management.

Essential:

  • Proven experience within Crisis Management, or a similar position such as Incident Management or Disaster Recovery
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility - no crisis is the same
  • High level communication skills and strategic thinking
  • Calmness and decisiveness under pressure

The Crisis Manager role is a new vacancy for this business, and so this comes as a huge opportunity to shape and guide their plan to combat crises going forward. Due to the stakeholder engagement element of this role, it would be expected that you attend the office twice per week to be involved with business critical meetings and to ensure that you are well Embedded across all areas of the business.
