Aircraft Fitter - Electrical

Up to £38 hourly rate (inside IR35 via umbrella)

The Electrical Fitter is required to support the Manufacturing, Modification, Maintenance, Installation and Test of aircraft as per aircraft schedule in accordance with Maintenance Manuals and Technical Drawings to achieve aircraft airworthiness whilst following all processes and procedures set to ensure regulatory compliance. This is to be performed with adherence to all Health and Safety requirements.

Essential/Electrical Experience:

• Completed an indentured aviation apprenticeship along with City & Guilds Electrical Certificate/NVQ Level 3 and/or completion of approved base training.
• The ability to work in an Electrical Sub-Assembly department, manufacturing Cable/Harness Assemblies, including:

1. - Laser printing
2. - Identification
3. - Soldering
4. - Crimping
5. - Cable terminations
6. - End make-offs
7. - Bench test in accordance with Design Data
8. - Working to Technical Process Specifications
