Our Client is an innovative engineering business that has developed exciting new folding propeller solutions aimed at the yachting and cruising boat markets.
Having been born out of a highly successful castings and machining Company, the new Business has the benefit of over 50 years of engineering expertise and innovative R&D, culminating in it now being positioned to launch exciting new folding propeller ranges.
An exciting opportunity now exists for a pro-active, self-motivated and commercially focused engineer to become part of a close-knit team and play an active role in the commercial sales and marketing development of these exciting product ranges.
You may be and experienced engineer who is seeking a more commercially focused role, or a sales engineer who is wanting the opportunity to become an integral part of an SME’s growth and development.
This opportunity may also appeal to a Graduate Marine Engineer who is seeking the opportunity to develop their career, where they can apply their engineering knowledge to developing commercial business opportunities and sound long-term customer relationships.
In any event, if you also have a knowledge or interest in the Yachting and Cruising market, this would be advantageous, but not essential. More important is your ability to develop effective relationships with people in order to successfully secure positive outcomes.
You will possess an energetic and enthusiastic personality and have effective communication and presentation skills. You will be IT literate, and possibly have had exposure to, or a knowledge of Solidworks.
This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of a Business that can offer the long-term career prospect of a senior position within the Company. The role can be home based, but there would be a requirement to spend periods of time at the Company’s Head Office in North Yorkshire.
It is envisaged that the role will necessitate extensive UK travel, as well as developing potential markets throughout Europe and countries Worldwide, as the Business opportunities begin to gather pace. Therefore, you should possess a valid UK driving licence and a current Passport.
