Inventory/ Loss Prevention Team Manager - Full Time - Wimbledon, South West London

Our Inventory/ Loss Prevention team work closely with our stores, regional teams and head office departments to minimise stock loss across the business. We are now looking for a Team Manager to join the department to oversee a variety of projects to help keep Lidl ahead in the retail market. As a Team Manager you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Project Consultants and providing new ideas and improvements to processes that will help improve inventory controls in our stores.

If you have a strong understanding of operations and loss prevention, proven project management skills and you are an experienced team leader this might be the perfect role for you!

What will you do?



•Leading, developing and driving the performance of a team of 4-6 people

•Ensuring that Lidl's "High 5" leadership principles are instilled within the team

•Analysing and optimising a variety of operational processes within our stores

•Creating presentations, projects and training documentation

•Developing relevant goal-orientated solutions

•Planning, managing and coordinating project rollouts

•Managing existing sales projects and providing advice and guidance to your team of Project Consultants

•Co-ordinating projects across different departments within Lidl

•Analysing and reporting on in-store projects and trials

•Presenting project proposals and outcomes to senior management

•Managing a number of projects simultaneously

•National and international travel may be required

What will you need?



•Experience within operations and sales (stores) in a management position

•Knowledge and understanding of loss prevention and be able identify control measures

•Extensive project management experience with the ability to multi-task

•Proven leadership capabilities with experience of developing team members

•Competent Microsoft Office/ IBM Lotus Notes user

•Proactive, creative and able to develop innovative solutions

•Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously

•Strong communication and IT skills

•German language skills are beneficial

•Experience working within a regional role at Lidl is desirable

•Driving licence preferable
