Our client is a household name, and one of the world's most prominent companies in the Service Provider/Carrier industry

We are looking for a Nokia (Alcatel) NRS II/NRS I/SRA Service Provider level IP Design Engineer & expert.

Key technical requirements include:
Strong understanding of distributed Hardware architecture and hands-on experience on Nokia (Alcatel) kit eg. Nokia 7750. Strong experience on ISIS, MPLS, RSVP, TE, Hierarchical QOS, Fortinet, LACP, BGP, BFD, ETHOAM, HSRP, VPLS, Pseudo-wires, VRRP, SNMP, Netflow, IPv4/v6, 6PE, 6VPE, Segment routing, EVPN, control plane, forwarding plane
Working Knowledge of GIT for creating and managing JINJA configuration templates.

Desirable sills

- Understanding Open-config and Vendor specific YANG models.

- Ability to create JSON and NETCONF XML payload.

You will also tick the following boxes:

-Competent in designing Carrier grade network solutions for projects, complying with IP Net. Dev. - design standards

-Good experience with service provider technologies for supporting carrier routing

-Strong understanding of Reliability Matrix, availability Matrix, longevity of design, commercial aspect of solutions

-Excellent (document writing skills) in producing artefacts such as HLD and LLD, presentation and technical Diagrams as part of project engagements

-Possess excellent communication skills to convey Risks, obtain sign-off, timely escalate issues to management, and send weekly project updates

-Elicit requirements from stakeholders to design optimal solutions

-Ensure eventless rollout of network changes by reviewing change requests

-Working Knowledge of GIT for managing configuration template

-Ability to automate using DevOps tools

-Ensure successful compliance for all design requirements by contributing actively to testing and provisioning activities such as test planning, Review of MoP's, etc
