Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for a Data Governance Manager for an initial contract of 6-months with a Global FMCG client. The consultant should be located in or around Paris with availability to work in a hybrid setup.
The roles, responsibilities and skills required of the Data Governance Manager- Data Domains:
As the Data Governance Manager within Global Data Governance Office team, you will be at the forefront of driving our global Data Domains program, aimed at leading global data initiatives on priority use cases which fuels value added digital solutions.
Goals:
- Reinventing the way sales forces operate, equipping them with data-driven tools supporting the prioritisation of their efforts.
- Optimising the pricing of products in Real Time.
- Optimising marketing spend allocation across channels.
1. Program Management:
- Drive the program vision, identify risks/challenges, and oversee future improvements.
- Perform a maturity assessment per Domains, identify gaps, and provide an acceleration plan to cope with ambition.
2. Operational Excellence:
- Build the Data Domains playbook which gathers core methodologies and guidelines to manage a Data Domain.
- Develop comprehensive training programs and mentorship initiatives for Data Domain Managers continuous growth and effectiveness.
3. Data Governance Advisory:
- Track adherence to Data Domains framework and support Data Domain Managers to ensure consistent progress to established guidelines.
- Provide guidance and support to Data Domains Managers in developing and executing their data governance initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in data governance, program management, consultancy or related roles within the consumer industry.
- In-depth knowledge of data governance principles, practices, and industry trends.
- Proven ability to manage complex programs and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Strong leadership and change management skills with ability to inspire teams and build trust with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and communicate program performance effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and engagement among diverse stakeholders.
- Prior experience in people management, recruitment, and training.
- Proficiency in data-related tools, software, and technologies.
- Project management certification (eg, PMP) is desirable.

- Start date: ASAP/01.12.2023
- Length of contract: Initial duration of 6 months, extensions highly likely as long term program
- Location: Paris, France
