Head of Data Engineering

£120k - £150k

London (2 days in office)

My client is a large global organisation looking to help make positive impact on the environment and they are looking for strong leaders to help contribute to this mission in their B2B digital function. This is a strategic and managerial role where you will lead, grow and develop a Data Engineering function. You will work on a diverse range of projects and help set the strategy for complex and scalable data engineering solutions that will have a large impact on the business and customers.

Key skills/experience required:

• Previous experience in leading and growing a Data Engineering team of 10 - 30 people
• Experience of 7 years + working hands on as a Data Engineer
• Has lead/mentored and managed a high performing Data team for a minimum of 4 years
• Experience of data infrastructure and data management technologies
• You have used statistical and advanced analytical techniques to improve business performance
• Excellent use of Python, Go, Java, C++
• Experience developing one or more Object Oriented programming languages
