Functional Safety Architect - Remote/Hamburg - Long Term Contract
My clients Automotive business unit offers sensor and processing technology that drives all aspects of the secure connected cars of today and the autonomous cars of tomorrow. Currently, they are looking for an Functional Safety Architect to join their busy team on a long term contract basis. The work can be performed predominantly remotely with a 1 week onsite/3 weeks remote work structure.
Required Experience:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in Microcontroller and Microprocessor Architecture
- Hands-on experience in at least one of the following:
- Automotive system architecture knowledge such as Electric Vehicle, Autonomous driving System, or In-Vehicle Networking architecture
- AI/ML HW Accelerator Architecture
- RISC-V ISA
- Functional Safety, Reliability, Diagnostic and Test
- Embedded Software for critical system
- Strong motivation to learn about Functional Safety and associated practices.
Preferred:
- Experience in semiconductor product development (IP Design, Verification, DFT, Physical Implementation, Tools & Methodology, etc).
- Experience in Embedded system and software development.
- Experience with ISO26262 or IEC61508
- Experience in Safety Analysis Techniques (FTA, DFA, FMEDA).
- Experience in System Level Modelling or Application development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop System level Safety Use Cases using System Engineering technics
- Develop System, SoC, and Software level safety architecture
- Perform System, SoC, and Software safety analysis
- Review and develop IP, SoC and Software related Safety work products compliant to ISO26262.
- Participate in Safety Audits and Assessments.
- Support Customers to use Safety work products developed by Safety Team.
- Develop disruptive Safety Architecture for Long-Term Innovation
