IT Programme Delivery Manager

Fully Remote

£50,000 - £65,000 + perm benefits

A leading charity-based organisation is currently recruiting for a Programme Delivery Manager who will work within the digital and technology workstreams being responsible for the delivery of complex products and services. As the IT programme delivery manager, you will work closely with delivery team members, you'll be aware of blockers and risks, and be the main contact to either resolve them or escalate further. As a successful IT Programme Delivery Manager, you will be a strong Communicator especially between the technical and non-technical teams alongside being able to mediate and mend relationships, communicating with stakeholders at all levels.

Experience

  • Significant experience of project and programme management across a variety of complex programmes.
  • A deep understanding of, and approach to, benefits delivery, from strategy to realisation with sound financial knowledge, including cost versus benefit analysis and forecasting, with the ability to see the wider implications of project financial variance.
  • Leadership of programmes, projects and change management initiatives, using agile and other methodologies.
  • Experienced in a coaching style of leadership, alongside a holistic view of staff development.
  • Understanding of how to develop business cases and life cycle management.
  • Adept at seeing potential issues before they occur, you'll have an excellent instinct for problem solving.
  • Understanding of change and transformation programmes
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills including being able to work with assertive personalities and facilitating robust discussions.
  • A high level of organisation and planning
  • Understanding of when to balance attention to detail with the bigger picture.
  • Detailed understanding of legislative, financial, and reputational risk and experience of putting in working practices to prevent and mitigate errors.
  • Recognition of individual and departmental duty with regards to confidential information, exhibiting a duty of care across both.
