We are looking for a Senior SQL Server DBA to work within the public sector.

Location: Hybrid working - Glasgow

About the role: You will be responsible for providing BAU support to ensure availability, stability, and high performance of our SQL Server estate.

Essential Skills:

The ideal candidates will hold active SC clearance and have a proven SQL Server DBA background, with the following skills/experience:

• Experience of installation and configuration of SQL Server 2019
• Experience of Always-On clustered environments
• Experience in Log shipping for Disaster Recovery
• Experience of TSQL & PowerShell skills
• Knowldege of TLS certificates for end point encryption.
• Knowledge of High Availability solutions.
• Experience of management & enhancement of SQL server maintenance plans
• Experience in Incident, Change & Problem management.
• Experience of Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Mongo DB and PostgreSQL (Desirable)
