Lead D365 BC Engineer - Retail & Wholesale - £80,000 - £100,000 - NW England/Hybrid

My client are a retail and wholesale company based in North of England, who are looking to bring on a Lead BC Engineer. There main goal is to become a leader in the outdoor retailing industry and to do this, they need to ensure all systems are functioning correctly and up-to-date with the increasing demand of production and sales.

Already on BC version 22, and integrated with Azure Cloud services, they are looking for a Lead Engineer to come in, help create a roadmap for the next 3-years as they look to expand into Europe and further upgrade systems within D365 Business central. Due to their growth plans, they are looking for enthusiastic and proactive individuals who want to excel in their careers!

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the rest of the IT team to ensure platform knowledge is shared and documented for the team's growth.
• Work closely with the business to ensure developments are delivered safely, efficiently, and release value to the stakeholder needs
• Key input into strategic planning and recommendations with the IT Director and IT team.
• Deliver truly groundbreaking innovative IT Projects to transform and deliver how consumers buy our product sector.
• Work closely with stakeholders/business analysts to understand the business goals and requirements.
• Work with Project Managers and Business Analysts on backlog and roadmap for key strategic business projects utilizing tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or Trello.

Key Requirements around Tech:

• Knowledge in AL.
• Some knowledge around integrating ERP systems with Azure or AWS.
• Use of VSCode, DevOps, Git, GitHub, BitBucket would be preferable
