Junior IT Systems Administrator

Permanent - up to £50,000 + benefits* Office based 5 days

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior IT Systems Administrator to join an Investment Management company in London. The role will suit someone who is passionate about IT and keen to develop their skill set further. You should feel comfortable coming to grips with any new technology that is thrown at you.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining their infrastructure, including on-site and off-site Servers
• Monitoring and maintaining in-house software applications
• Managing the Microsoft Windows universe
• Administering Active Directory and Group Policy
• Managing storage systems, including NAS and iSCSI

Skills and experience required (not essential to have everything):

• Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory
• Networking experience (Juniper exposure desirable)
• Working knowledge of SQL, Scripting, HTML and web technologies
• Exposure to Hyper-V virtualisation
• Solid hardware experience
• Programming experience is desirable
