ROLE: Software Delivery Manager

LOCATION: Derby

SALARY: £60,000 + Benefits

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Software Delivery Manager, you will apply your skills and experience to manage the delivery of advanced software projects and products.

You will also work with developers across multiple software disciplines coordinating the software teams and managing the delivery roadmap for these projects.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Experience working with Software teams to support Roadmap delivery and agile practices.
• Management of onshore and offshore, multi-cultural development teams
• Strong Technical knowledge of software development and its life cycle.
• Strong Organisational and Communication Skills.
• Capability to work with multiple software teams to deliver on multidisciplinary projects.
• Capability to see the big picture and challenge the team to make accurate estimates without compromising the delivery time, the budget, and the quality of the deliverable.
• Prior software development experience.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• A team player, with the ability to communicate with different departments and customers effectively.
• Proactive and can take the leadership role.
• Able to initiate and respond positively to change.
• Positive minded with a 'can-do' attitude
