We are looking for 3 talented, Security Cleared, 3rd Line Engineers to join our established team on a Contract basis. Your responsibilities will include providing critical surge support for patching services within a secure managed service provider environment. The 3rd line engineer will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of information systems that support core organisational functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Patch Management:

1. Implement and oversee patching processes, ensuring timely updates to systems and software.

2. Troubleshoot issues arising from patch deployment and provide solutions.

System Maintenance and Support:

1. Perform regular system maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Security Compliance:

1. Ensure that all patching activities comply with organisational security policies.

2. Proactively identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.

Documentation and Reporting:

1. Maintain detailed documentation of patching processes and system configurations.

2. Prepare reports on patching activities, system health, and compliance status.

Collaboration and Communication:

1. Work closely with other IT teams to coordinate patching activities.

2. Communicate effectively with stakeholders about patching schedules and impacts.
