The Opportunity:

Consulting as a as a Category Manager on a 6 month rolling consulting we are seeking a skilled professional to lead and manage the end-to-end procurement and re-procurement process for new and existing contracts within our client's dynamic Cyber Team.

N.B. Candidates will have or be willing to undergo a basic level of security clearance prior to starting the role.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement and re-procurement process for new and existing contracts within the Cyber Team, including planning, managing changes to scope and progress reporting
• Develop a pipeline of live and planned procurements that has been agreed and is continuously reviewed with the business to allow for planning and resource allocation
• Commercial management to oversee all financial, forecasting and budget management activities within the Cyber Team to ensure correct distribution of budgets and that invoices are reviewed, approved, and settled within appropriate timescales
• Engage with the Buyer's cross-functional teams (eg Technology, Operations, and Compliance) and commercial team to develop effective and collaborative relationships that facilitate effective and streamlined procurement, commercial and contract management activities within the Cyber Team
• Identify improvements to continuously improve existing procurement processes, as well as the ability of the Cyber Team's Business Support Function to monitor finances and procurement activities (including knowledge sharing as required).
