SENIOR DATA SCIENTIST

An experienced Data Scientist required to develop and support the roll out of a new global programme.

• SURREY BASED
• Hybrid working pattern (1-2 IN THE OFFICE PER WEEK)
• 6 MONTH CONTRACT
• INSIDE IR35 using an umbrella

THE ROLE:

• Work with existing team to develop, optimise and deploy counterfactual and promotion optimisation models.
• Develop high quality and robust code.
• Assist in the improvement and scalability enhancement tasks on the code base.
• Mentor and upskill more junior members of the team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• MSc or higher degree in STEM subject.
• Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models.
• Experience in conceptualise, formulate, prototype and implement algorithms to solve business problems.
• At least 5 years of OOP development using Python, with excellent and broad knowledge of popular Python packages, eg statsmodels, sktime, lightgbm etc
• Strong experience in complete SDLC process.
• Experienced in Agile methodologies and hypothesis-driven approach.
