A leading, supportive and modern Managed Service Provider in Horsham is looking for a 3rd Line Service Desk Engineer to join the team. They are very supportive, fun and provide a challenging but comfortable environment to learn and progress.

Your new role
A 3rd Line Engineer within a Microsoft environment, utilising cutting edge technologies and ways of working. In this role you'll be:

• Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Service Desk, receiving telephone and email requests from clients as well as making call-backs.
• Working on the Service Desk, receiving telephone and email requests from clients as well as making call-backs
• Logging all issues in our ticketing system, keeping clients informed at regular intervals with progress updates
• Providing remote support using our RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) system

What you'll need to succeed

• Ability to manage your own workload with little supervision
• A high level of personal organisation
• An excellent telephone manner, able to communicate well in sometimes fraught situations with the ability to calm situations and give confidence in solutions
• The understanding of the need for confidentiality - our relationships with our clients may give access to their business and confidential information
• Good interpersonal and team working skills
• Attention to detail and ability to resolve problems
• Ability to listen and make sound judgements
• Excellent computer and technical literacy skills and knowledge
