Solution Architect - London - Hybrid - £120,000

My client is a leading global insurance technology company, specializing in cyber insurance. With innovative solutions, they protect businesses against evolving cyber threats, offering comprehensive coverage and expert risk management.

They are looking to bring on a Solutions Architect as they expand the team with the goal for microservices adoption across two delivery teams within the next two years.

The ideal Solutions Architect will have:

• Proficiency in breaking down monoliths or strong cloud-native experience (preferably Azure, but AWS or GCP accepted)
• Essential cloud-native experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP
• .Net development background preferred, with exposure to C#/.Net crucial
• Knowledge of Server Side development for APIs. (eg Microsoft .NET (core), ASP.NET (core) and other like technologies.)
• A deep understanding of databases, query languages and data schemes. (eg MS SQL Server, Cosmos DB, etc.)
• Experience of a developing solutions in a fluid environment where priorities change frequently, meaning an adaptive approach to solution development is needed.

• Proven experience selecting architecture that services clients' needs with the balance of costs, capability and risk.
• Strong team collaboration and experience working with remote teams, stakeholders and customers.
• Analytical approach to intelligence gathering and project planning
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact easily with end users and C-level executives
• Ability to work independently and self sufficiently while being part of a team and pursuing team goals
• Additional qualifications in infrastructure and DevOps are desirable.
