Senior Software Engineer - Global Investment Bank

Looking for Developers/Engineers with expertise in Java, Python, Terraform, React, and Golang, along with a proven track record of working on AWS cloud services.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the banking technology team to design, develop, and maintain robust and secure software solutions.
• Utilise your skills in Java, Python, Terraform, React, and Golang to create efficient and scalable applications.
• Leverage your experience in AWS to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that align with banking industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain APIs to facilitate seamless integration with various banking systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices to contribute to the continuous improvement of our technology stack.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Developer/Engineer in the banking or financial sector.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, Terraform, React, and Golang.
• Experience working on AWS cloud services, ensuring the security and compliance of banking applications.
• Familiarity with banking industry standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of API development and integration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills within a banking technology environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Java, Python, or AWS.
• Previous experience with financial systems and banking software.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Understanding of security protocols and encryption standards in the banking sector.
