About the Solutions Architect role:

A market-leading, customer-driven business is seeking an accomplished Solutions Architect with experience in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), Supply Chain, or Logistics domains. This role is pivotal as the company undertakes a large IT transformation program. Working alongside a team of Solution Architects, Consultants, and third parties, the Solutions Architect will contribute to the development and implementation of the organisation's application architecture, specifically in the WMS, Supply Chain, and Logistics domains.

Reporting into the Head of Architecture, this is an opportunity to join during a critical phase of the transformation program and collaborate with project teams across the business to understand their requirements and produce innovative architecture solutions.

Solutions Architect - Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience working as a Solutions Architect with a focus on application architecture.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in the WMS, Supply Chain, or Logistics domains.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable and robust application architectures.
• Familiarity with integration techniques, such as APIs, Service Bus, and Message Bus.
• Experience working with cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Background in software/integration engineering would be beneficial.
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale environments.

The organization offers a flexible working policy, with most of the work conducted remotely. However, the Solutions Architect will be expected to be on-site approximately one day per month on average, with potential fluctuations over the duration of the contract.
