Hamilton Barnes is currently representing a Multinational Software Company who are looking for a Cloud Database Engineer to join their 5 year transformation project on an initial 6 month contract with a view to extension.

Must speak fluent English.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Proven 24x7 support experience in cloud environments.
• Strong automation skills and experience with database migrations - Oracle to CloudSQL
• Experience with the following: Hana, Hadoop, Redis, Kafka, InfluxDB, Postgres, Cassandra, MySQL.
• Familiarity with public cloud services.
• Focus on supporting the Procurement and Business Network cloud platform across public cloud, Business Technology Platform, and Managed Data Centers.

Freelance Contract Details:

• Duration - 6 months
• Location - Remote (UK/Europe)
• Day Rate - Competitive - Location Dependent
• Start date - January 2024
• Inside IR35
