Software Engineer vacancy requiring profound Automic, UC4 and OPC knowledge for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Creating and implementing automation strategies for job scheduling to enhance efficiency and reliability
• Ensuring standardization and compliance across all projects by driving best practices in governance
• Streamlining job development, maintaining standards and promoting automation to scale current development and deployment of jobs
• Cooperating with an international and interdisciplinary team as well as relevant stakeholders

Your experience/knowledge:

• Practical experience as a Software Developer along with knowhow of the common software design patterns and infrastructure- and software architecture
• Expertise in software development languages and tools relevant to Automatic Automation like Java, JavaScript and python
• Familiarity with Automic Automation (UC4) with a distinct focus on automation and governance
• Proficiency in API programming, integration and design, like REST, Java, JSON and YAML
• Solid skills in the area of Job Scheduling (Automic Automation) and Host Scheduling (OPC/TWS) would be an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like computer science or engineering or equivalent work experience
