Cyber Security Software Engineer

We are looking for talented and passionate Engineers who are interested in Embedded security software. As part of our Software team, you'll help us engineer, design, and produce an entirely new and smarter architecture for tomorrow's cars.

Responsibilities:

• Understand Security requirements & develop design approaches based on those requirements to mitigate security vulnerabilities
• Develop secure software based on different designs on features like Secure Boot, Secure Logger, Secure Update, Secure Communication, IP Security, MAX Security etc.,
• Follow Product Life cycle process & be involved in all aspects of the product development process (concept, design, validation and production)

Required Skill sets:

• Understanding of Standard ISO21434,In Vehicle cryptography,AUTOSAR & Secure Software development
• Working knowledge on standard Cybersecurity Feature Development - Secure Boot, Secure Logger, Secure Communication etc.,
• Ability to read and understand Security requirements & develop design approaches based on those requirements to mitigate security vulnerabilities
• Should be able to analyze application security vulnerabilities found through testing and collaborate with development and other internal technical teams to provide mitigation steps to reduce the risk.
• Detailed technical knowledge of techniques, standards and state-of-the art capabilities for authentication and authorization, applied cryptography, security vulnerabilities and remediation
• Must have a background in product life cycle & will be involved in all aspects of the product development process (concept, design, validation and production)
• Must handle the interaction with project management both locally and overseas and need to work with teams at global locations across different time zones
• Must be self-directed, highly motivated, eager to learn, and organized with strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Work closely with application developers and help in delivering quality software
• Experience in developer bench testing
• Expertise in static and dynamic source code analysis
• Agile Software Development
• Automotive SPICE
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have:

• Interest in all aspects of security research and development
• Knowledge of regulations/standards (SAE/ISO) and associated regulatory frameworks such as ISO 21434, SAE 3061, and UNECE WP29.
• Advanced knowledge of cyber threats, security measures, project management methods and testing models for Embedded software projects
• Understanding Automotive Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration testing
• Evaluate, discuss and create security designs with the customer
• Identify and address security problems eg for fuzz- or penetration testing or audits

Education

B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics & Communication/Computer Science/Electrical/Instrumentation
