Monitoring Engineer - Software

6 Month Contract - UK Remote

InterQuest are working in partnership with a well-known Software House, and we are looking for an experienced Monitoring Engineer with significant experience in building, supporting and maintaining a Datacenter Monitoring Solution. The Solution should provide comprehensive monitoring of all critical components of our partners Datacenter to ensure efficient operations and minimize downtime.

Responsibilities & Experience

• Icinga/Nagios. Prometheus + AlertManager. Grafana, ElasticSearch, Splunk (or similar tools like Zabbix, Graylog, Loki etc)
• Strong experience in managing automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet Jenkins and Bamboo
• Experience with Scripting languages such as Bash, Python and PowerShell
• Familiarity with containerization platforms such as Bash, Python and PowerShell
• Familiarity with containerization platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in systems administration, supporting Linux/Unix and Windows environments
• Experience building and deployment Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) systems.
• Experience implementing integration of CCTV and access control systems into DCIM systems.
