Are you a Software Developer skilled in PHP and Laravel?

A fantastic opportunity is available to join the Agile team at a SaaS company working within the hospitality industry, delivering software solutions to over 10,000 customers.

This company has taken hotel management software by storm and are now looking to expand their team. They have plans to continue their growth throughout 2024 and you will play a key part in driving the business forward and sharing success. You will have full autonomy and flexibility to architect and build new functionality and be trusted to do what you do best.

You will be working remotely the majority of your time, the team likes to meet up once a month in either Bristol or Cardiff and all travel expenses are paid. They also have a quarterly social event with all expenses paid.

What you'll get:

  • £50-60k salary depending on experience.
  • Fully remote working.

What you need:

  • You will be a Software Developer who has strong, commercial experience with PHP and Laravel, and good exposure to AWS and how it integrates with software development.
  • Expertise in AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and IAM.
  • Understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL, NoSQL and MongoDB.
  • Experience with Front End technologies such as React is a bonus.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborating with the wider team to implement software solutions including design, development and testing.
  • Migration of the old stack into new microservices, exposing more functionality to via APIs.
  • Utilising tools such as GitLab to build continuous integration pipelines, to help monitor and ensure software quality and security.
  • Full Software Lifecycle involvement: project concept formalisation; requirements analysis and specification; architecture design; implementation and delivery; training and support and software life cycle and maintenance.
  • Contributing to code reviews, sharing knowledge, and mentoring junior team members.
