REGULATORY COMPLIANCE OFFICER - CONTRACT (12 MONTHS) - BELGIUM - ASAP START

My client is looking for a Regulatory Compliance Officer to offer support, advise, and provide guidance on financial markets and instruments regulations (including MiFID), deontology, whistle-blowing, and anti-bribery matters. You will be involved in the approval process of new products/services and changes in existing products/services.

Role:

• Monitoring regulatory requirements, procedures, and rules.
• Providing responses to advice and information requests.
• Preparing answers to information requests from authorities and internal/external auditors.
• Managing and following up on specific and general projects independently.
• Identifying and documenting regulatory risks while developing controls.
• Drafting procedures and operational guidelines to comply with new regulations.
• Conduct training and controls.
• As a valued member of the Legal & Compliance team, you will report directly to the Head of Legal & Compliance.

Key Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, such as a Regulatory Compliance Officer in Banking or Financial Institutions (Required)
• Prior experience in Belgium's banking and financial institutions (Required)
• Monitoring and conducting controls for deontology (Required)
• Solid understanding of MiFID regulations (Required)
• CRS Fatca reporting (Required)
• Fluency in French or Dutch and English.
