A leading London-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) in search of a highly experienced 2nd - 3rd line Senior Field Services Engineer to join our dynamic and close-knit team. As a Senior Field Services Engineer, you will primarily be stationed at a client site for four days a week in West London, with one day based in our central office. This role demands a high level of technical expertise and a keen ability to communicate effectively. You should bring a solid foundation in Microsoft technologies and previous experience in a similar work setting.

Onsite 3-4 days a week, subject to change depending on client requirements - West LondonTravel to the client site will be paid for

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site assistance and 2nd - 3rd Line remote support.
• Expedite the execution of infrastructure and network projects.
• Collaborate with client internal IT teams and stakeholders.
• Oversee and coordinate 3rd party support requests.
• Engage with our internal 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Line teams to facilitate fault/problem resolution and transfer knowledge

Experience:

• Mastery of desktop platforms, including Windows 10/11 and MAC Operating Systems.
• A strong understanding of networking, encompassing vLANs, switching, NAT rules, and VPNs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft AD, DHCP, DNS, DFS, Profiles, and Group Policies.
• Expertise in Office 365 and Microsoft Exchange.
• Familiarity with Mimecast.
• Knowledge of SonicWall, Sophos XG, FortiGate, and Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Experience with Virtualization technologies: VMWare and Hyper-V.
• Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 Administration, Build, and Migration
• Competence in Hypervisor technology, specifically VMWare and Hyper-V.
• Exposure to Azure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 to 2016
