How you'll make a difference:

As an API Integration Architect or a similar role, your responsibilities will include designing and implementing robust and scalable API integration solutions. These solutions will seamlessly connect our microservices architecture with both internal and external systems. Your role will be critical in facilitating efficient and secure data exchange, advancing digital transformation, and strengthening our overall API ecosystem. You'll also serve as a technological thought leader, actively engaging with communities and promoting innovation within our API initiatives.

What you'll bring:

- Proven experience in roles such as API Integration Architect, with a strong emphasis on designing and implementing scalable API integration solutions.
- A solid understanding of API design principles, RESTful architectures, and integration patterns.
- Experience with API management platforms (eg, Kong, AWS API Gateway, Zuul) and expertise in their configuration, customization, and deployment.
- Proficiency in identity and access management (IAM) solutions (eg, Ping, Okta, SailPoint) and a deep knowledge of security protocols, authentication methods (eg, OAuth, JWT), and API security best practices.
- Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and messaging systems (eg, Kafka, EMS), as well as Stream Processing.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in API integration (eg, Java, Golang) and experience with API development frameworks (eg, Spring Boot).
- Prior experience in the banking or financial services sector, particularly in digital banking.
- Knowledge and a deep understanding of best practices for patterns related to Real Time and analytical use cases.
- Knowledge and expertise in patterns related to Domain Driven Design using BIAN.
- Knowledge and expertise in patterns related to CDC (Change Data Capture) and Kafka.
