Resource/IT Capacity Planner

An experienced Resource/IT Capacity Planner with a background of working in busy IT environments is required on a permanent basis and remotely for our customer, whereby you will support the IT Portfolio Manager.

You will be experienced in resource planning, in complex businesses where hiring managers are spread across multiple time zones. You will be experienced in sitting down with these hiring managers, gathering their resourcing requirements, and firming these up and then looking at the business tracker to ensure that the right capability and capacity (time, skills) are available to allocate to this hiring manager and documents and follow this up with written communication to ensure that there is an audit trail.

All requests will be heavily IT focussed, therefore, you will have to have an in-depth understanding of IT, for example, the difference between an Infrastructure Architect and a Solutions or Enterprise Architect etc.

You will have second to none communications skills, the ability to interface at all levels across the business and ultimately be able to work in unity with the IT Portfolio Manager.

Location: Remote

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum.
