Application Support Analyst
Location: North Leeds area (once a week on-site)

Fruition IT are recruiting for a talented and experienced Applications Analyst to join an important cultural institution. The company is going through an IT and digital journey, and this is a great opportunity to be a part of a large organisation preserving valuable cultural artefacts.

What you will be doing?
As the Application Analyst, you will be the SME in core business applications used across the organisation. You will be responsible for investigating and providing 3rd line support to resolve complex application related incidents, implementing functional application changes and releases, ensuring availability, capacity, performance, and security levels are maintained throughout. As the SME, you will champion best practice, offering advising and educating on best use of the applications.

Essential experience:

• Proven experience in Application Support (1 year plus)
• Hands on experience with software analysis, testing and technical documentation
• Experience of common MS Applications such as Dynamics and SharePoint
• Linux/UNIX experience

Good to have:

• Proven knowledge of creating, analysing and refactoring of SQL queries
• Experience and understanding of bespoke applications systems
