We are looking for a talented AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team in Cornwall. You will work on exciting digital projects using the latest technologies in a "tech for good" environment.
This is an opportunity to utilise your DevOps and AWS skills to build and manage infrastructure, applications, and services on the cloud. You will work with technologies including Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
We are seeking someone local to Cornwall who can work closely with our developers and bring reliable, scalable systems to life. You will diagnose production issues and implement solutions to improve reliability.

Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation
- Deploy and manage applications using ECS, Kubernetes, Docker
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and other DevOps best practices
- Monitor and optimise performance, costs, reliability, and security
- Troubleshoot issues and outages in development and production environments
- 3+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Deep experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, etc.)
- Proficiency with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD platforms
- Strong Linux administration and Scripting skills
- Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, logging, metrics
- Knowledge of networking, security, and reliability best practices
- Able to work independently and collaboratively on a small team
- Based locally in the Cornwall area - ideally
