The Opportunity:

Our client is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to oversee their installation and commissioning activities for their range of Highways Technology assets around the UK.

This is an ideal role for an individual with hands on experience working on maintenance contracts for Intelligent Transport Systems, NRTS, tolling or tunnels technology systems who is looking to step into a Project Management position.

Skills and Experience:

• A proven background working as an engineer on highways technology assets (ANPR, VMS, HADECS, Midas, etc.)
• A good understanding of Health and Safety
• Able to work under pressure and make important decisions and abide by them
• Good administration and co-ordination skills
• Any experience in Project Management would be an advantage, but not essential

Role and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all work is conducted with full regard to Health and Safety of our customers
• Prepare project proposals, timeframes, schedule and budget
• Ensure project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately
• Building strong and long term customer relationships
• Ensure adherence to CDM regulations
