Perm: up to £80,000 + 25% Bonus
Contract: £400 - £500 p/d outside IR35
International Tax Manaer to join a global market leader in manufacturing, providing a series of products across a wide range of industries. The ideal candidate will come from a Tax/Accounts background, be tech-savvy, with international experience and go-getter energy!
Some of what you will be doing:
Tax Reporting:
- Lead the preparation of tax disclosures and associated tasks for both full-year and interim reporting cycles, acting as the main point of contact for external auditors and the broader finance team.
- Generate forecasts for the group's effective tax rate and cash flow.
- Oversee the monthly review of reported tax figures.
- Collaborate closely with finance managers to provide ongoing training in accordance with IFRS.
- Prepare tax disclosures for statutory accounts.
- Drive process enhancements to boost accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of Tax Reporting.
Compliance:
- Ensure the accurate and timely submission of tax returns and related filings, including CT61, group payment arrangements, applicable claims, and elections.
- Spearhead process improvements to enhance the efficiency of UK compliance procedures.
- Provide support in dealing with tax authorities on various matters.
Advisory & Transfer Pricing:
- Aid in the preparation of the Division's transfer pricing master and local files.
- Assist with tasks related to acquisitions, disposals, and business restructuring when necessary.
- Offer ad-hoc tax advice to the business, collaborating with external advisors as required.
- Stay updated on global tax developments to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
Ideally, your skills and experience will include:
- Professional Qualifications: Possess ACA and/or CTA certifications.
- Demonstrate sufficient post-qualification experience in a global tax/account reporting role.
- Technical Expertise: Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of tax accounting principles under IFRS.
- Project Management: Showcase strong project management abilities.
- Display an understanding of complex business issues and strategic considerations.
- Be committed, focused, and adept at influencing and managing stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Comfortably navigate and excel in ambiguous work situations.
- Possess persuasive negotiation skills to achieve consensus among diverse opinions.
- Technical Tool Proficiency: Prior experience with Cognos is desirable.
