As a key player, you'll drive the evolution of our access network, ensuring optimal configurations and future-proofing strategies.
- Role Title: Radio Planning Engineer
- Location: Remote preferably North West England
- Rate: £375 per day OUTSIDE IR35
Role Overview:
You'll be the driving force behind delivering top-notch 2G/3G/4G/5G radio designs, collaborating within regional teams to meet coverage and capacity requirements. Your responsibilities include site selection, configurations, and working closely with various stakeholders to enhance network performance and customer experience.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement 2G/3G/4G/5G radio designs for optimal network performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to enhance network quality and meet national guidelines.
- Engage with vendors, suppliers, and deployment teams to drive improvements.
- Contribute innovative solutions to complex radio issues and hardware configurations.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G radio network technologies.
- Proficiency in radio coverage planning tools like Atoll and experience in optimization techniques.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in teams and manage challenging timelines effectively.
- Experience in project management, supplier management, and business case creation.
- Proficiency in network statistics, trace analysis, and drive testing logs.
- Knowledge of automatic radio network optimization tools is a plus.
- Customer-centricity and a passion for exceeding expectations.
- Innovation-driven mindset and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills across diverse teams.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deliver results efficiently.
