Finance System Analyst

Rate - £400 a day

Location - Reading (Hybrid)

Duration - 3 months +

IR35 - Inside (Must use an umbrella company)

• Provide technical expertise/subject-matter-expert for the core Finance Systems, including Unit4 ERP (previously known as Business World, or Agresso), P2P, online banking, payment service providers and reporting.
• Ensure high levels of service delivery, through timely response to individual incidents as well as ongoing support and preventative maintenance.
• Escalate to and coordinate between internal customers and support providers, including colleagues in other departments as well as external companies for incident management and resolution.
• Participate in systems and project groups, providing expert guidance on technical issues, influencing colleagues on solutions and presenting recommendations for review by standing boards and committees.
• Plan and coordinate own development work to ensure appropriate design, testing and release according to specific deadlines and within a wider roadmap covering BAU Finance activities and strategic projects.
• Produce development estimates, documentation, test plans, training notes and evidence approvals as required by team & organisational process controls.
• Design comprehensive, reliable and accessible processes, report suites and dashboards for a variety of end user categories and use cases.
• Provide continuous service improvement through a process of identifying common issues, analysing, designing and deploying solutions as part of a service team.
